Argentina – Organic Honey Production

The organic honey production increase in the province of Mendoza.

Mendoza is the second province in the country producing organic products. With its 232 farms, leading the national region. Mendoza is strong in production of wine, garlic and organic vegetables in Argentina. Everything produced at the regional level aimed at export. The outstanding issue at the sector: developing an internal market for high consumption.

Secretary of Agriculture Rural Development and Family Ministry of Agriculture, Carla Campo Bilbao, at the First Meeting of Beekeeping Associations and Cooperatives in Argentina, which takes place from yesterday until today in t city of Moreno in the province of Buenos Aires said that such conferences “are fundamental to the strengthening of production chains in the country.” He added that requires that each of the assistants help “strengthen the productive chain as important as this has significantly increased its production and has become one of the most important export products.”
