The variety of natural and organic cosmetics on the Russian market is growing all the time. New shops with a corresponding range have recently opened in Moscow. The French company Melvita has already launched its third outlet in the capital, whereas Pervoe Reshenie with its Organic Shop concept is a newcomer.
The company, one of Russia’s leaders in the health and beauty sector, is planning four new shops in the Russian metropolis. These also sell lines from other brands as well as the company’s own exclusive private label Organic Shop. The concept has been created in cooperation with the British designers from ‘We Are Pure’. Pervoe Reshenie has already worked in partnership with ‘We Are Pure’, which also designed the packages for the Organic Shop range and created the design for the first Russian organic cosmetics called Natura Siberica.
Otherwise the Russian market for natural cosmetics is dominated by international firms, including Aubrey Organics, Börlind, Dr.Hauschka, Logona, Living Nature, Melvita, Sanoflor, Styx and Weleda. In the course of the growing range of organic products, the Russian president Dmitri Medwedew has commissioned the Ministry of Agriculture to develop standards for the organic segment, reports Organic Monitor.
