“BioFach América Latina is in excellent hands with NürnbergMesse Brasil. Our Brazilian colleagues are exhibition professionals with many years of know-how,” says Petra Wolf, Member of the Management Board of NürnbergMesse, with satisfaction. “The Brazilian exhibition duo is also part of a powerful network covering the most important markets worldwide. Last year, the world-leading BioFach exhibition in Nürnberg together with its international daughters in Japan, the USA, Brazil, China and India attracted over 3,500 exhibitors and 100,000 trade visitors from the production, processing, trade and service sectors,” Ms Wolf continues. Ligia Amorim, Managing Director of NürnbergMesse Brasil, adds: “We are pleased that we can now take over the organization and overall responsibility for BioFach América Latina ourselves and make optimum use of the many synergies within the powerful NürnbergMesse Group.”
NürnbergMesse Brasil, the new organizer of BioFach América Latina, is one of the largest foreign exhibition organizers in Brazil and produces revenues of more than nine million euros with a staff of about 30. The portfolio in São Paulo comprises ten of the company’s own events. These include BioFach América Latina, the South American daughter of the world-leading exhibition in Nürnberg, which takes place together with the ExpoSustentat exhibition. Whereas BioFach América Latina presents exclusively certified organic products, ExpoSustentat is a platform for sustainable products and biodiversity projects.
