Until BioFach takes place in February 2012, the oneco team presents the people who make BioFach reality. In this third interview of this series we put 5 questions to Frank Venjakob.

 

What is your connection with BioFach / Vivaness?

I am responsible for the BioFach events that take place abroad. Besides Nuremberg as the organic sector’s annual get-together, 5 other BioFach’s throughout the world bring together the international organic players – in Japan, China, India, the USA and Brazil.

What was your funniest / nicest / bizarrest experience with BioFach / Vivaness?

Which 3 words do you spontaneously associate with BioFach / Vivaness?

Delicious, international, sensory

Who would you like to see at BioFach / Vivaness and why?

I would like to see all the Ministers of Education at BioFach, so that nutrition becomes a permanent part of school education.

What do you do when you’re not working for BioFach / Vivaness?

From time to time I take visitors on a historical tour of Nuremberg at the weekend for the “History for Everyone Institute”. Here I enjoy passing on my knowledge to anyone interested in Nuremberg and its history.

What should BioFach visitors definitely not miss in Nuremberg? What’s your tip away from the exhibition grounds?

The original Franconian restaurant “Petzengarten” for relaxing in a cosy atmosphere. The delicious carp are very popular among our guests from abroad.
